i was in a hurry to go home yesterday night from nafa. amazingly. i managed to get a cab even in the cbd area within 2 mins.
I WAS GREETED BY A HORRIBLE SURPRISE.
okay, okay. let me explain the situation clearly.
1. i was in a hurry
2. the opposite direction of traffic have really glaring lights
3. i cnt see anything but the word "taxi"
4. i flag the cab - SMRT Prestige
5. was rolling my eyes in horror!
6. dun know a single shit abt Pestige Cab
7. Shock of my life realizing that the flag down fee is $5!
8. Shock of my life again when i found out that it increases at 0.30 per tick!
9. $3 for CBD extra charge!
10. $1 for ERP!
11. Going to have a nervous breakdown any moment looking at the meter the whole journey bk
12. Reach home with a grand total of $27.50
the whole journey cost 150% - 180% of the average usual cabs.
so if you ever wanna travel in style with SMRT? Think twice. or maybe thrice!
